Madura Gold

Madura Gold is quarried in a bedrock quarry formation near the town of Madurai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Depending on the level in which the block is quarried from, the gold color will either be lighter or more intense in tone. Upper portions of this particular quarry produce the colors seen in Madura Gold slabs.
